This jetty with a rest bench is right next to the NABU research station.
From here, however, you don't see very much of the NSG "Die Reit".
The "high seat" of the research station is certainly more suitable.

NABU Hamburg has been operating the research station DIE REIT, which is located in the middle of a nature reserve, for a good 40 years.
The task of the station is to research bird migration and to look after the protected area.
Small birds are caught, ringed and measured at the NABU station.
The recorded data flow into international bird research projects.
The aim of this scientific work is to determine statements about population trends, distribution of sexes and age groups, spatial and temporal migration patterns, the influence of climate and food supply on the birds and much more.
