From the first church further into the gorge - even if the path is difficult to see in places. Shortly before the upper chapel follow the yellow arrows (old path) and there is an impressive moment when there is apparently no progress ... until you go under the pine tree. The steep last few meters to the street are worthwhile for the view from up there. Back over about 1.5km asphalt and then through the olive plantation to the lower chapel.
