Don't be afraid doesn't look so terrible everywhere. But the trail is tricky to find in places and easy to miss the markers. The path is marked, white/yellow, sometimes not easy to see, so look carefully.
Update 04.2022: Again, passable and walkable, only a small trunk makes it difficult to get through.
