For a while the path (which is part of the "Mare e Monti" path) leads narrowly and narrowly along the Figarella, through maquis, you feel like in the jungle. The vegetation is varied: there are olive trees and lavender, ylex and climbing plants. On the descent you will find a cave with a rock hanging down at the front, but it is not sandstone, but probably some kind of limestone. And we discover more rocks with holes, wondrous shapes and figures. Across the creek, now called Figarella, you follow a road that is unusually easy to walk uphill until you come to a hill (Bocca u Corsu) from which you can see Calenzana. The slope on either side burned down a few years ago; only a small strip of trees remains.
