The city of Quimper is one of the most beautiful cities in Brittany. Its Saint-Corentin Cathedral dominates the old town.
It took three centuries to build this building. It is one of the greatest successes of Breton Gothic art. These spiers rise more than 76 meters high.
This mythical city has three ancient hearts. A gourmet city with lively shopping streets, it is also the cultural capital of Brittany.
Following the Odet, you reach the Locmaria district, the cradle of earthenware factories. The famous earthenware of Quimper was made famous by the bowls representing a Breton couple in traditional costume.

Quimper has a picturesque old town, some of whose houses date from the Middle Ages and is therefore a popular tourist destination. Visible from afar, the pointed towers of the “Cathédrale Saint Corentin” tower over the city. Construction in the Breton Gothic style began as early as 1240, but was not completed until 1856 with the construction of the steeples.
