Very well-kept small cemetery all around, but unfortunately, as is often the case, a closed church. The nicely laid out benches in front of the gate are unfortunately very dilapidated and are no longer suitable for sitting.

The first works on the church in Krien date back to around 1280. The two-span choir (altar) and sacristy on the north side date from this period. The nave was built in 1328. The tower and the annex on the south side were added later. The chancel and the nave are built in the brick Gothic style.
