The garden of the beautiful Villa Maritime is rarely opened to visitors, but in 2021 you can visit the exterior thanks to the exhibition by Italian artist Fabio Viale as part of the second edition of a summer in Le Havre. The maritime villa is a residence built in 1890 according to plans by Henri Toutain, it was inhabited by Madame de Aldecoa, Georges Dufayel and Armand Salacrou where he died in 1989. Renovated at the beginning of the 21st century, it belongs to the Partouche group and housed a restaurant until 2007. In 2010, it served as the setting for the third Contemporary Art Biennale. It has a greenhouse and artificial caves.
