To get to the hamlet of Montecchio, starting from Boario, you pass over a scenic Roman bridge almost 25 meters long. It is built of granite and stone blocks on the remains of an older bridge, which connected the medieval castle to the opposite bank of the river.
In 2013 the bridge was closed to car traffic, becoming cycle-pedestrian only.
