Typical of De Haan are the wooded dunes. The nature reserve "De Staatsduinen" includes numerous tree and shrub species, you also meet many songbirds, who find their breeding ground here. From the "Spionkop", a cottage high on a dune, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the forest, the dunes and the sea.
