This trail can be taken round trip or one way by CAUTIOUSLY using the ravine to the North of the end of the forest service rd to make your way down to the river & 7 Bridges trail bringing you back to old Gold camp rd and the Cheyenne canon parking lot . ( SEE 7 BRIDGES TRAIL BACK)
WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!
This trail is almost entirely uphill & rocky if you do not plan on camping at the summit or taking the short cut, (DANGEROUS) to the 7 bridges trail back Then be prepared for the steep, rocky inclines & slippery, ankle snapping descent ahead of you and plan on giving yourself time for more breathers than you might take usually.
