One does not have to climb the ramp - there are also more moderate ascents, e.g. from Neipperg. At the end of the village turn left into the cycle path and follow the signs. If you're up at 322 m, there are still about 4.5 km to the control room.

With a feeling of 99 percent gradient, it is short but damn steeply up to the Heuchelberger waiting. Hard to manage with a hero crank, with a compact crank on the limit. Above you will be rewarded with a great view and a beautiful mountain trail along the Heuchelberg. As an alternative to the steep pass, you drive up the vineyard in parallel. Not quite as steep, but in the end you get out at the same place. If you drive down the hill, you have to pay attention to the bollards in the middle of the path. Also, every now and then a car comes up the vineyards.

When driving down you have very nice views over the wine landscape. You don't have this when climbing between the vines.
