The name of the path is interesting: "Offenbacher Weg". The path runs parallel to the city limits, right past Offenbach. Was that intentional? Or does the name perhaps come from ancient times, when the men of Offenbach came to Heusenstamm and Dietzenbach to have sex? They set off on their way back in the dark... perhaps this path led the men astray and they only arrived home after the first rays of sun had broken through? Is this where the term "late returnee" comes from? Questions upon questions... you cycle along such paths to get enlightenment, but instead you get lots of maybes and even more questions. Then there is also the question of why a path created by humans is ploughed up so badly by pigs (this time I mean the ones with four legs and dark bristles). Are the wild boars trying to scare us or even drive us away? Even more questions - but we organic bikers are not afraid, even if there is a lot of croaking in the forest and there is also this strange twittering and whistling. Have the pigs allied themselves with the birds? Now I wish I was Mowgli and could understand the animals.
But "it was still nice".
Perhaps... you could drive there and explore the area!
