Mutignano is a beautiful, small town with about 620 inhabitants, which is located above the Adriatic coast at about 320 m above sea level on a "mountain spur" and from which one has a wonderful view of the Adriatic coast and the surrounding area. Particularly worth seeing is the old town with the winding buildings and alleys and the small details that make this place so worth seeing. My tip: definitely visit, it is definitely worth it.
The beautiful and evocative medieval village of Mutignano, today a hamlet of Pineto, between Atri and the sea of the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo is one of the authentic villages of Italy. 😍
Another beautiful surprise from the fantastic MAGS 2021🥰🥰🥰
After 6 km of ascent you enter Mutignano, an ancient village, as the sign states. Before crossing the whole town, we stop in front of the Church of San Silvestro where some people are preparing banquets with typical local products. On the walls of the low houses there are some murals depicting activities of daily and rural life: those who bake bread, those who sew by machine, those who play cards, those who carry baskets on their heads.
