Located between the Liège railway and the Meuse, the Beez mills form a set of buildings intended for the operation of a flour mill, construction of which began in 1901. The mill consists of two buildings linked by a footbridge at the level of the first floor. Built on four levels, entirely in brick, it is pierced with numerous windows and its attic floor is decorated with a frieze surmounted by dentils along the entire length. A veritable "castle" of a flourishing industry at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, a flagship of the regional industrial heritage, the site is now enjoying a second life after its reassignment by the Region following a restoration hailed in 2002 with a “Europa Nostra” medal at the request of the IPW.
