The footbridge connects the west bank with the adjacent nature reserve Oltigematt and the east bank and the Marfeldinger-Au. At the end of it there is a not too big parking lot, from where you can easily walk to the jetty on a level path, about 1/4 hour...or the barbecue area in front with a view of the two waters (confluence of the Saane and Aare ) and the great landscape with the nuclear power plant in the background.
