            I stumbled upon this relatively new bike path by chance. From Kalteneber down to Heiligenstadt, it feels like it never ends, a cool ride. The curves are very clear, and the road surface is simply fantastic. This bike path is easy to incorporate into circular tours in the Eichsfeld region.

                            From Neun Brunnen uphill towards the forester's lodge, or the other way down, both are good options. The dirt road is barely washed out, and a trail runs parallel, over roots.
                            From Neun Brunnen, keep right after the barrier.
