This route makes up a large section of the Pengel-Anton cycle path. Trains still operated on the old railway until the 1960s. Today, the route, like many others, has been turned into a lacy bike path that connects Brilon with Soest.

From the direction of Brilon it goes for a long time on the beautiful Möhneufer until the Möhnesee is reached. On the entire route can enjoy the nature very well. In the area of the nature park Arnsberger forest you can observe especially many migratory birds. The Möhnesee is home to many animals and offers an impressive number of birds a resting place every year.

Former railway line Soest-Brilon, here the old railway station "Sichtigvor" with restaurant, which is operated by a very nice gentleman. Of course, cold and hot drinks and a very small kitchen are on offer (Bockwurst with bread or potato salad, pretzels, waffles with hot churches, ice cream and cream). 50 meters from the station are 2 wagons next to the route to visit. Opening times May-October every Sunday / public holiday 14:00 - 17:00. Admission free, but a donation box is between the wagons on which you should not pass ;-)
