This opportunity to get off the Bruce Highway looked so promising but turned into a very amusing challenge. I've never come across a gravel road that turned into a track made of small gravel/scoria that had no dirt combined with it. It was like riding on, well hard to explain, but ball bearings is apt.
The fun part was the fishtailing and sinking feeling that did stop progress from time to time. Walking was no better as my feet sank into the gravel.
