For centuries it has been the residence of the princes of Ligne, a noble Belgian family. This castle is sometimes called the Versailles of Belgium. It can be visited, but closed for the 2023 season, open again from April 2024.
The village where it is located also has something magical, the grandeur of the buildings, the gardens, the swans in the moat... and of course the surrounding forests where you can freely ride MTB... wonderful.
