Not to be missed: Sainte Marie Abbey, the Louis Roques Distillery and the many bridges and viaducts, some of which are listed as Historic Monuments. Market every Friday and Sunday, every other week.

Souillac is also known as the "city of seven viaducts." Located at the confluence of numerous railway lines, its architecture gives it a certain charm. It is also halfway along the GR hiking trail between Sarlat to the west and Rocamadour to the southeast.
