The water treading facility in the Kohlgrund is beautifully situated in a small valley between forests and meadows. Hikers or MTB riders can cool their feet and rest here. If the weather is bad, the refuge offers a dry place. There is also a barbecue area, but you should register the barbecue with the municipality.
From the romantic Kohlgrund you can also go hiking, for example to Ebenheid or over the mountain to Freudenberg.
Update: the water treading facility is now in the Corona period
newly renovated and prepared, it looks great again.
