The Research Station in Popielno is a unit belonging to the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn since January 1, 2016. The activities carried out at the Research Station are aimed at the protection of biodiversity by breeding animals of conservative breeds (Polish horses, Polish red and lowland black and white cattle), as well as education and promotion of an active lifestyle.

It is worth visiting the area of the Research Station of Organic Farming and Animal Conservation Breeding of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Popielno. Under the supervision of a guide, we can visit selected station facilities and go on a hiking route (red deer breeding).
