In 1909, the first part of this railway line went into operation, which was once planned at the request of the wood and paper industry. The later completed route leads from Neustadt to Elmstein, in 1977, however, all operations were discontinued. Until the Förderverein Kuckucksbähnel took care of it. Today you can go on weekends a commuter journey of a special kind. Have you ever started the steam engine for the bike tour? Well then it's time!
