Lio Piccolo is a town in the Venetian Lagoon, with only 22 inhabitants included in the municipality of Cavallino-Treporti. It is sometimes referred to as an island, although it is rather a collection of islets separated by narrow channels. The appellative Lio is a local term, now in disuse, which means lido.
