The court column in Großkrut is the only surviving place of execution in the Weinviertel. On the approx. 50 cm high base sits the 7 meter high column with a flat tile roof and a hole in the middle from which the gallows protruded. The last conviction by the high court in Bohemia and the execution of the execution "on the gallows, outside the village" took place on November 8, 1743.
