The Schönfeldspitze is certainly the most striking summit in the Steinerne Meer. Spitz he stands in the sky and is visible from afar. He almost cries to be climbed. But beware: The ascent requires your mountaineering skill. Especially the descent you should not underestimate.

But you will be rewarded with an exciting thrill and ingenious summit ascent. It takes about two hours from Riemanhaus to see the impressive summit cross. Bring a little bit of time to fully capture the beautiful panoramic view over the Steinerne Meer to the Königssee and Salzburger Land.

From the Riemannhaus, the summit can be reached via the ridge path via Schönegg and Wumkopf - a wonderful and diversified tightrope walk.
