Birgit Nilsson (1918-2005) was one of the greatest singers of the 20th century, the leading dramatic soprano. She grew up here on the old family farm and dreamed of living on the opera stage.
It was her wish to transform her parents' home into a museum, and to preserve the memories of her childhood and her later fabulous career.
