The Reevesluis is a lock in the Drontermeer, just south of Reve and the mouth of the Reevediep. The Reeve lock is 10.5 meters wide. The lock gate of the lower head weighs 43 tons and measures 12.5 x 7.7 metres. The overhead door weighs 51 tons and measures 12.5 x 9.7 metres. The lock replaces the Roggebot lock and takes over its flood defense function. The Reevesluis complex consists of a lock, a discharge sluice and a fish passage.
