Alpine hike difficult level with lots of large stones, steep cliffs and poor to non-existent paths. Be sure to only take this path if you are either an expert hiker or are prepared to do a slow hike due to being extra careful. Also, only do this when the weather is clear and dry as the rocks and cliff facings would be wet and very slippery. Allow for extra hours to complete this segment and to be back at the cable car in time to make it down the hill before they close. This path is much more difficult than the path on the other side close to Musala.

If you decide to hike this path, it offers beautiful vast views of many mountains and a lovely sunset (have to sleep over in the hut then as the lifts are closed by then).
