    This stretch of greenway connects the towns of Ripoll and Sant Joan de les Abadesses, and makes it possible to avoid traffic on the national highway. It has a very gentle slope of 1% and is reserved for pedestrians and bicycles.

    The iron and coal route alludes to the important presence of forges in Baix Ripollès and to the extraction of coal in the Ogassa mines. The route follows the old railway line and allows you to enjoy what has remained of the area's industrial past.

        A nice way to climb from Ripoll to Sant Joan de les Abadesses and avoid the main road. This portion of this narrow bike road is fully asphalted and cross through the countryside.
        Ok for climbing, but not really suitable for the other way (from St Joan to Ripoll), because it is narrow and sometimes crowded, so the way down is limited to 20km/h speed.
