The museum displays artifacts that represent some of the earliest evidence of Korean civilization and culture. Numerous exhibits are cultural assets from the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897) and the Korean Empire (1897-1910). Exhibits from all over the world in the huge museum range from ancient Mesopotamia to antiquity to more recent Asia. Entry is free.
