          The Col de Véry is an impressive mountain pass in France located at an altitude of 1,964 metres, on the border of the departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
          The views from this pass are extraordinary as you can see the Mont Blanc massif in all its fullness if it is clear.

            The Col de Véry is a pass in France located at an altitude of 1,964 meters, on the border of the departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
            This very flared passage with soft shapes between the Beaufortain to the south and the Val d'Arly to the north is used by several hiking trails including the GRP Tour du Beaufortain and Tour du Pays du Mont-Blanc; a few meters south of the pass is the Croix de Pierre refuge. Although surrounded by the ski areas of Megève and Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe which are part of the Espace Diamant, the Col de Véry is devoid of any winter sports facilities.
