The top is a military zone. Check that the road is open on hongrin.ch to avoid the disappointment of being told by a soldier you can't get through and have to ride down!

When climbing from Yvorne to Les Agittes, it's important to note that there's a Swiss Army firing range on the other side of the pass. Therefore, continuing the journey is usually only possible on weekends. Furthermore, the tunnel just before the highest point at Les Agittes is unlit and unpaved. However, because it has several holes in the rock, you can still see where you're going.
