The KitzAlpBike Mountain Bike Festival including the marathon is now legendary. For a whole week, the whole Brixental is in mountain bike fever. Hillclimb, marathon, sprint races and a colorful program with guided tours, testival and, and and inspires mountain bikers and e-bikers. Incidentally, the place is also pretty cozy outside of the festival. Ideally suited for a break on a long bike tour or the evening afterwards.

The Roman Catholic parish church Brixen im Thale is in the center of the village. It is dedicated to the feast of the Assumption and St. Martin. The magnificent, double-towered church is a listed building. It is considered to be the most beautiful, classical sacred building in Tyrol and is often affectionately referred to by the locals as "Bressanone Cathedral".
