The Waldbad, opened in 1928, was completely reconstructed and modernized in the early nineties. New pools with a modern filter system, a paddling pool for the youngest and, as a special attraction, a 30 m long water slide were built. Well-kept lawns for sun worshipers, a children's playground, beach volleyball and table tennis invite you for a sporty pastime.
Since fresh air and sports make you hungry, you can fortify yourself at the kiosk with a snack and refresh with ice. The lifeguards can also take swimming lessons. Every year in July, the Klötzer Wasserwacht organizes the Waldbadfest with various attractions such as Neptune baptism, night swimming, show jumping, air mattress swimming and a children's disco. This spectacle takes place on the last weekend in July. The bathing season will be opened in May according to the weather and will last until 15th September. The Waldbad is open to visitors daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
