Embros Therma is a hot thermal spring that emerges from a rock cave and has healing properties (it contains magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, sulfur and ... chlorine). In the front part of the beach there is the famous "seapool" of hot springs covered by rocks. This is where the warm water mixes with sea water, giving us the feeling of a naturally warm bath. This is an excellent therapeutic method for everyone - especially those - who suffer from muscle pain. Entering this spring (free entry) we will feel like we are in a jacuzzi, thanks to the natural bubbles emerging from its bottom. The healing properties of this place are also given by the sulfur floating in the air.

The Embros Spa is located 9km from the city of Kos. Bus number 5 goes there every hour from Kos. The bus takes about 20min .. The spa consists of about 80 degrees hot spring, which comes from the mountains. The water accumulates in an approximately 10 m² wide basin made of natural stone. The closer you are to the spring, the hotter the water is.
But you can scald yourself carefully right in the pool. There is a slight smell of sulfur in the air.
