Today you can admire the wealth of well-preserved historical evidence in the village, including the village square surrounded by houses from the 19th century. The village consists of several hamlets, spread over almost 3 km, some of which are worth seeing.
Particularly interesting are the 19th century buildings lined up in the beautiful village square and the large mansions of the old village center of Cevio. The Ethnographic Museum of the Maggia Valley has been set up in two of these houses, which formerly belonged to the Franzoni family.
Cevio is located in the upper Maggia Valley and has some exceptionally interesting houses to show. Also here is the turn into the side valley that leads to Bosco Gurin.
