T-34-85 manufactured in December 1944 in plant no. 112. It turns out that this is a tank delivered in the second tranche (January/February 1945) to the 4th Armored Brigade of the 1st Armored Corps. This means that it is a veteran of the battles of Bautzen (April 21–30, 1945) - one of the few tanks of the 4th Brigade that survived these battles.

The monument in Nowogród commemorates the battle of Polish soldiers with Germans fought on September 7–10, 1939, when 800 Polish soldiers supported by civilians from the city and surrounding areas fought a German division of several thousand.
