The historic half-timbered town in the fairytale land of the Brothers Grimm
Wolfhagen is a town in which there is a lot to discover. For example, the market square with the "Alte Wache" (now a cafe), the "Fairytale Fountain" with the wolf and the little goat. It symbolizes the Wolfhagen town fairytale (The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats) and the close connection with the Brothers Grimm, the "Old Town Hall" (now a hotel and restaurant) with the "Grimms Fairytale Cellar", in which fairytale and author readings, children's theater, weddings and other events are held.
The Gothic "St. Anna Town Church" with its mighty tower that dominates the city skyline.
Historic, very well restored and well-maintained half-timbered houses, squares and winding alleys in the over 775 year old town center convey the impression of idyll and harmony.
