Here in the Hanenkenfuhr area, the Ems and the parallel Dortmund-Ems canal offer a beautiful piece of nature. Beautiful cycle paths, flat, easy to drive on and away from traffic.

Again and again the passing cargo ships can be observed, which are on their way towards Berlin (Mittelland Canal) or towards the Rhine.

The cozy city center of Lingen invites you to stay for a short or long time. Here you will find everything that cyclists need. If you have the time and inclination, you can follow the Ems to where it flows into the Dollart and visit the cities of Haren, Papenburg, Leer and Emden. All of them are recommended and have a lot to offer their guests. Have lots of fun with it!
