The Eixlberg with the pilgrimage church of St. Barbara is a very popular hiking destination - not least because of the Emmausklause. This is located in the former sacristan's house and is managed and operated by the OWV Pfreimd. The perfect place for a break with a hearty snack and cool Upper Palatinate beer.

The Eixlberg with the pilgrimage church of St. Barbara, the Loretto Chapel and the Emmausklause is one of the most beautiful places in Pfreimd. The church is ideal for pilgrims and hikers to quietly contemplate for a prayer. The Emmausklause is the ideal place to refresh yourself with a hearty snack and half a beer. On foot or by bike, the Eixlberg is worth a visit at any time of the year. Pay attention to the opening times of the hermitage.
