The small community of Pfarrweisach with its districts is located in the middle of the German Burgenwinkel and is ideal as a starting point for hiking and enjoying nature in the Haßberge. The "Castle History Trail" is ideal for hikers interested in history, the "Thieves Cellar" - a legendary, wild and romantic rock labyrinth or the Lichtensteiner Legend Trail and the Lichtenstein castle ruins are ideal excursion destinations for families.

Charming half-timbered houses and venerable churches (St. Kilian Pfarrweisach, late Romanesque church in Junkersdorf from the 13th century, renovated church in Lohr) invite you to stroll and explore before the day ends in a rustic inn with Franconian hospitality.

The Rabelsdorf district is particularly worth seeing - its harmonious townscape with half-timbered ensembles was awarded gold in 1993 as one of the most beautiful villages in Germany.

The district of Kraisdorf in turn offers a nice refreshment after a long day of hiking with its heated outdoor pool.

When you have got to know all the sights and hiking trails around Pfarrweisach, you should go on excursions to the closer (Ebern, Altenstein, Königsberg, Hofheim, Haßberge Nature Park) and further surroundings (Coburg, Bamberg, Banz Monastery, Basilica Vierzehnheiligen).
