Archery is concentration, focus, technique, body control, tension and relaxation...

A demanding challenge!

Archery is a sport that creates mental and spiritual balance. The interaction of body and mind is more important than in any other sport than in archery (except golf).

So it is not surprising that archery is used as a therapy for back problems or muscle weakness. Mental concentration on the target and at the same time a correct movement sequence quickly create a sense of achievement and thus inner peace and satisfaction (stress management). The fact that fun and enjoyment are not neglected is a positive side effect. The age of the athlete does not play a role.
