The St. Anna Church is the largest building in Neuenkirchen and towers over all the roofs of the small town. Therefore, the church can definitely be described as a landmark of Neuenkirchen. It was inaugurated on September 27, 1899 and is not only a beautiful sight from the outside, but also inside.

Opening hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.,
Tuesday and Thursday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

St. Anne's Church is the Catholic parish church of Neuenkirchen in Westphalia. As a landmark that can be seen from afar, it towers over all the buildings in the community. The church was built under Pastor Bernhard Bette between 1896 and 1899 according to plans by the architect Wilhelm Rincklake from Münster and inaugurated on September 27, 1899 by Bishop of Münster Hermann Dingelstad.
In the years 2009 to 2019 the church was extensively restored because cracks had formed in the plaster.
With its monumental building in the neo-romantic style, Rincklake was based on the early Romanesque church buildings in the Rhineland. The model for the church was, among other things, the Mariendom in Andernach, with the double-tower facade in particular showing clear similarities to the model.
