The core of the church is a Gothic hall church with a slightly drawn-in, polygonal closed choir. It was rebuilt and refurbished in 1721 by the patron saint, Hans Dietrich von Creutz. In 1892 the vestibule was added to the south. The nave is covered with a gable roof, from which the church tower rises like a roof turret.
