The olmate di Oriolo are tree-lined avenues destination for cyclists and walkers. In the shade of the beautiful trees arranged in two rows it is a pleasure to ride. From here you can easily reach the MTB or gravel trails in the surrounding area.

They are a complex of three very characteristic tree-lined avenues to be covered on foot or by bike, which connect Palazzo Altieri, the Convent of Sant'Antonio and the hermitage of Montevirginio, located on the northern slopes of Monte Calvario, localities that came into the possession of the Altieri in 1671 by purchasing them from Virginio Orsini. The three avenues were built on a project by the architect Carlo Fontana according to a design of two triangles opposite the vertex, re-proposing the urban layout proposed in Rome at the time of Pope Sixtus V. consisting of four rows of elm and hackberry placed at a distance of about 4 meters.
