Steinfurth Rose Museum

It is the most beautiful in the whole land of flowers - this is especially true in the Bad Nauheim district of Steinfurth, Germany's oldest rose village. The rose has been grown here for over 150 years and sent all over the world. The permanent exhibition "Rosy Times" in the Rose Museum tells of this tradition, but also of the history of the rose in art and culture.

The museum invites its visitors to experience the rose in all its diversity. Many people probably know that it has spikes, not thorns. It is considered a symbol of love and the muse of the fine arts, but how exactly was the rose used as a medicinal plant? You will find answers to these questions in the exhibition at the Rose Museum and can experience how a finished rose plant is created within two years. The rose village of Steinfurth sends around 2 million plants every year. The museum also offers its visitors various events.
