San Leo is wonderful in every season: in spring the hills that surround it are full of gorse and fragrant acacias in bloom.
In summer, when in Rimini the heat and sunshine make you gasp, here the heat is never oppressive.
Autumn brings beautiful colors to the hills and woods that surround it.
In winter, if you are lucky enough to see it with snow, it becomes a fairytale landscape.
From the belvedere and from the fortress you can enjoy a wonderful view.
The fortress and its churches are rare pearls.
Also ... it's the birthplace of my maternal grandfather!
Not to be missed!
