Very narrow, mostly asphalted cycle path on an old railway embankment. Winds beautifully through the forest. Between K9080 and the Höhenweg (rest area) on the vineyards there is an unpaved surface with pebbles. Be careful when descending because of deep transverse gullies in Niederhermsdorf.

The old railway line is a beautiful, moderately uphill and, above all, quiet alternative to the busy local connection from Freital to Kesselsdorf. My recommendation, use the route upwards. There are some pretty deep gullies, several road crossings and a lot of gravel in the last third.

A good tip off the road and without traffic. With oncoming traffic it gets a bit tight. It's a shame that the upper part still hasn't been paved. Still rides well on a racing bike. It's impressive how evenly the slope was built for the railway.
