The beautiful Deister town of Rodenberg.

The Rodenberger Aue flows along the domain and the old weir before it makes its way through Rodenberg. Past Little Venice, to the old fortifications of the moated castle and the public park. Before she leaves Rodenberg in her renatured bed, then unites with Sachsenhagen with the Sachsenhäger-Aue to the West-Aue and flows into the Leine near Wunstorf.

In the center of Rodenberg, the often excellent Italian ice cream parlor is definitely worth a visit.
We also recommend a short tour to Museum Island, where the history of the town is explained to you.

On the official square in front of the town hall there is a fountain depicting the master brewer Hans Kinkeldey around 1500.
